Hat Yai is the southern city of Thailand located near Thailand border of Malaysia. Hat Yai is the biggest city of Songkhla province in Thailand and is also the major business center of Songkhla province. The city has developed a lot in the recent years and has now become a major place for commerce, education, transportation and tourism. The city hosts typical tropical climate where summers are hot and humid and monsoons are very enjoyable. This tropical climate is ideal for evergreen forests and thick lush green vegetation and this is the reason that Hat Yai comprises of lot of greenery in and around. These ever green forests enclose several waterfalls, wildlife and national parks, as well which are simply a treat to watch.

Located at Kanchanawanit road, this park is full of beautiful blooming plants and is considered as one of the major recreation places in Hat Yai. There are various food stalls in the park which catch the attention of a lot of visitors. The park also includes a beautiful statue of King Rama V, a Brahmin shrine and also a statue of Guan-Yin, a Chinese goddess.
Tong Nga Chang wildlife sanctuary is the home to Namtok Ton Nga Chang waterfalls. This waterfall is one of the most beautiful and huge waterfalls in southern Thailand with a multi level structure consisting of 7 levels. The third level is the most beautiful as the waterfall splits into two streams giving a resemblance of an elephant tusk. This is also a major attraction for adventure lovers, as people can have an adventurous experience climbing the seven levels of this waterfall.
Songkhla is the only fresh water natural lake in Thailand which is about 80 kilometer long and 30 kilometer wide. This island comprises of various small islands that attract tourists. Boats are available near the lake which can e easily hired for visiting other beautiful and marvelous land masses.
This man made marvel is a long stretch of concrete bridge in Thailand and is the longest one in Thailand. The bridge has two parts, one connects Amphoe Mueang to southern KO YO and the other connects the northern shore of KO YO to Ban Nam Krachai. There are many other tourist attractions including Wat Hat Yai Nai, Ban Sattha, Khao Kao Seng, Khoi Noi and Khao Tang Kuan where people can have a fun time with their family members.
