Central World Mall

Central World Mall, as the name suggests is a shopping mall, which is second largest in Southeast Asia. Previously, the building was known as World Trade Center, but later the Central group acquired the property, renovated the building and named it as Central World Plaza. Currently, the place is well known by the name Central World. The mall is located in Pathum Wan district at the busiest tourist and shopping junction called Ratchaprasong Intersection. One can reach Central Mall by taking a Skytrain and get down at Chit Lom or Siam station and then take the elevated walkway which connects these two stations to the Central Mall.

The Mall has a cinema complex at the seventh floor. Cinema complex is an upscale complex having 15 screens consisting first-class seats. The Cinema complex also hosts many Thai movie premiers. The mall has a huge electronic store as well that sells electrical appliances such as refrigerator, micro-oven, home theater and lots more. This store is located at fourth floor and is known by the name Power Buy. The mall embraces a shop called Super Sports which is a huge sporting shop. Similarly, a shop called B2S is also seen in the mall that sells Thai based books.

central world mallOne can even shop toys, imported games, gadgets and gizmos in the Toys R Urs store. There are various shops of apparels and accessories in the mall which sell goods that are branded including Morgan, Esprit, Samsonite, FCUK and Playboy to name a few. The mall also has an international chain of eateries and restaurants which incorporate Pizza Hut, KFC, McDonalds, McCafe, BaskinRobins, Lee Café and many more. So, plan a visit to Central World Mall and have a great time shopping.
